We are holding a FAMILY CAMP between Friday 16th and Sunday 18th July 2010 and details have been given to families — if you havent received the details please call me.
This will be an opportunity for children, parents and siblings to share the excitement and fun of camping together. There will be a number of activities including wide games, walks, camp fires etc and optional activities including climbing wall, crate stacking, skittles, adventure area, pedal carts, archery and potholing.
The cost of the camp including campsite hire, food etc. will be £ 20 per person plus the optional activities.
We will be setting up on Friday night and running activities throughout Saturday and Sunday Morning finishing mid afternoon on Sunday.
Children will only be able to attend if accompanied by at least one of their parents/guardians and the children will camp with their parents/guardians and remain under their parent’s/guardian’s responsibility throughout the camp.
Families should provide their own tents but the Group may have a few spare tents which will be available to borrow.
To comply with Scout Association rules all people over 18 must have a Scout Association CRB clearance. If you do not have a clearance, I will arrange this if you can notify me as soon as possible.
To enable us to complete the programme, camp rules, arrangements for CRB etc. please can you complete the slip which is being provided at the section meetings (or email me with your child’s name and section) and I will send the form to you.
